Introduction
Pretoria is South Africa’s administrative capital, located 50km north of Johannesburg in Gauteng province. Known as the "Jacaranda City" for its purple-bloomed trees, it serves as the seat of government, housing the Union Buildings and numerous embassies. It is a hub for history, education, and culture.

Summers are long and hot, while winters (June-August) are dry and cool.
